Science, Innovation and Partnerships for Resilient Blue Economies

The 3rd Aquatic Resources and Blue Economy Conference (ARBEC III) is East Africa's premier scientific platform for advancing research, policy and innovation in sustainable aquatic resource management. Hosted by the Kenya Marine and Fisheries Research Institute (KMFRI), the conference brings together researchers, policymakers and practitioners to address the urgent challenges facing Africa's inland and marine ecosystems.

ARBEC III takes place in Nairobi, Kenya from 23 to 27 November 2026 under the theme “Science, Innovation and Partnerships for Resilient Blue Economies”, and expects more than 1,000 participants and over 300 presentations.
